Pong is a great arcade game from back in the day. It is great for a number of reasons, but like with most games from that era, simplicity is a plus. You have games like Space Invaders, and asteroids which were from the same time, but pong holds a special place in a lot of gamers hearts.
Pong is simple game, which is essentially a computer game version of ping-pong. You play as a paddle, against a computer-player one, and you knock the ball back and forward between each other. Like with normal ping-pong, if you miss the ball, then you lose a point. Unlike with ping-pong, with pong the score goes up to 10, and you don’t need to have a 2 point difference.
There have been various redesigns of the game over the years, with versions which follow the traditional style, and those which have added extra functions. One such game allows you to move the paddle further into the ‘court’, allowing you to add extra weight behind the ball and make it go faster.
