The date of Control’s release has now been announced for August 27th 2019, and many people are looking forward to it hitting the shelves. It is a shooter game that will play with the mind and push the boundaries of reality, made by Remedy, who also made Max Payne.
It’s certainly not a boring concept – set in the US, but not as you know it, the player will be the Director of the Federal Bureau of Control. They take charge of the supernatural, and they are based in a place that is in multiple dimensions, all at once.
Whilst the game is a shooter and there will be plenty of weapons, there are also more psychological elements. Players will be able to have psychic powers, and will have to use these throughout the game. It’s quite similar to games like Second Sight, a PlayStation 2 game from quite a few years ago now.
