This week has been Paris Games Week, a time of new announcements concerning products and releases from Sony, in the near future and far beyond. Numerous titles were discussed and lots of exciting news has come to the forefront. Here are some of the most interesting points to pick up on from Sony:
- Ghost of Tsushima is coming – an open-world adventure from Sucker Punch studio. The game looks set to be in Japan and it looks incredibly attractive but we know little of the detail as of yet. No release date was alluded to.
- Guacamelee 2 is being released for PS4. The original came out in 2013 and this will be a follow on from that story. No specific release date was revealed but it is apparently coming ‘soonish’.
- Megalith will be released in 2018. On the surface, it doesn’t seem that unique – it is a shooter game involving gods called Titans. However, it will be released for PSVR, bringing virtual reality into the mix.
