New Video Game Show Coming to Channel 4
Channel 4 is set to launch a new show about video games, starring Rob Beckett. It is called Playing for Time and is a nostalgic take on video gaming, looking at gaming history and exploring how games have changed. It isn't as serious as it sounds though - it is billed as a comedy, featuring different celebrities on each episode, who will test our their skills. They will go head to head to play some of the absolute classics, like Pac-Man, The Last of Us and Mario.
Guests on the show will include Scarlett Moffatt, Rachel Riley and Josh Widdicombe, amongst others. Some are described as 'back seat gamers', wanting to be in control and get the controls, whilst others didn't really play games as much through the 80s and 90s. The programme reveals different game tactics and preferences, as well as looking at some more unusual titles as well.
The show will be on screen from March 30th on Channel 4.
