Xbox Series X/S Shortage Looks Set to Continue
Filed under Consoles
The Xbox Series X/S launched on November 10 and was available for pre-orders from September. However, a shortage in consoles means that lots of fans might not be able to get hold of the new Xbox until the second quarter of 2021.
Xbox has acknowledged the shortages in press conferences but as of yet, it is still unclear exactly when they expect supply and demand to get back to normal. Many fans who pre-ordered may not even be able to get their Xbox Series X/S console before Christmas.
If you are trying to get hold of one, Xbos has advised to check stock with local retailers as there may be consoles available every now and again. Until there are further announcements and a plan of action is brought into play, it looks likely that the shortage will continue well into 2021. Keep an eye out for news and do keep checking for stock on a regular basis.
